Day 1 - UK - Hanoi (Vietnam)

Fly from the UK to Hanoi.

Day 2 - Hanoi

On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel, the Movenpick, for a two-night stay. Enjoy a special Welcome Dinner at KOTO on Van Mieu. KOTO stands for ‘know one, teach one’, and gives disadvantaged young people the chance to train at its culinary school. (D)

Day 3 - Hanoi

Enjoy a guided tour of Hanoi with highlights including Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Later, enjoy an afternoon rickshaw tour though Hanoi's bustling Old Quarter. (B)

Day 4 - Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Head to Ha Long Bay to board your junk for a two-night cruise. Pass Ti Top Island (Jan - Apr 2018 only) and board a bamboo boat to explore Dark & Bright Lagoon. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Ha Long Bay

Stop at various islands today, including Surprise Cave, and go swimming in the crystal clear waters. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Ha Long Bay - Siem Reap (Cambodia)

Board a bamboo boat and visit Luon Cave (Jan - Apr 2018) or visit Ti Top Island (Jul 2018 - Apr 2019) before docking at Ha Long. Later, transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Three-night stay at the Shinta Mani Resort. (B)

Day 7 - Siem Reap - Angkor

Visit Ta Prohm before heading to the Opportunities of Development thru Art (ODA). (B,D)

Day 8 - Siem Reap - Angkor

Take the opportunity to join select experiences before heading to the Angkor Archaeological Park. Visit the Angkor Archaeological Park on a guided tour, before heading to the 13th-century Bayon temple and watching the sun set over Angkor Wat. (B)

Day 9 - Siem Reap - Prek K'dam

Travel to Prek K'dam and board your ship, the RV La Marguerite. (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Kampong Tralach - Oudong

Explore the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang, before cruising to Kampong Tralach. Enjoy an ox-cart ride through the village before visiting the Imperial City. Travel to Oudong, the former capital of Cambodia where you can participate in a Buddhist blessing. (B,L,D)

Day 11 - Koh Chen - Phnom Penh

Explore the small village of Koh Chen, which specialises in silver and copperware. Later, cruise to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. (B,L,D)

Day 12 - Phnom Penh

Visit the infamous Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Later, head to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Tan Chau (Vietnam)

Cruise to the Vietnamese border. Later, arrive in Tan Chau. (B,L,D)

Day 14 - Tan Chau - Sa Dec

Enjoy a rickshaw tour and visit local artisan workshops. (B,L,D)

Day 15 - Sa Dec - Cai Be

Enjoy a boat ride to Sa Dec for a tour. See Huynh Thuy Le's house. Following lunch, board a local boat to the town of Cai Be where you can see its floating markets. Later, go ashore and see the French Gothic cathedral and visit a local rice paper manufacturer. This evening there is a Farewell Dinner on board. (B,L,D)

Day 16 - Ho Chi Minh City

Disembark in My Tho and travel to Ho Chi Minh City, visiting the iconic Cu Chi Tunnels along the way. Check into the Fusion Suites Saigon for your two-night stay. (B,L)

Day 17 - Ho Chi Minh City

Spend time at leisure before enjoying a Farewell Dinner this evening at KOTO Kumbo (Jan - Apr 2018) or KOTO Saigon (Jul 2018 - Apr 2019). (B,D)

Day 18 - Ho Chi Minh City - UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. (B)

Day 19 - UK

Arrive back in the UK.
